The DID 428 HD chain is the ideal choice for demanding motorcyclists and impresses with its high-quality workmanship and technical advancement. As a renowned original equipment manufacturer for numerous leading motorcycle brands in Japan and Europe, DID stands for quality and reliability. International racing teams also rely on the outstanding technology.

Chain specifications:

• Standard version: Open with clip lock (solid rivet lock optionally available)
• Seal: No seal
• Colour: Steel colour

The 428 HD is a consistent further development of the proven 428H. Instead of the classic winding technique used in roller production, DID relies on a modern production process from solid round material. This avoids weak points caused by seams and leads to a significantly more robust and durable chain.

Compared to the standard DID 428D chain, the 428 HD offers a reinforced design with thicker inner and outer plates, which results in a noticeably higher tensile strength. Thanks to its low weight, it is perfectly suited for motorcycles with an engine size of up to 125 ccm.

Product advantages at a glance:

• Tensile strength: 2390 kg
• Running performance index: 150 (up to 20-50% more wear-resistant than DID 428D)
• Seamless sleeves: drawn for maximum stability and durability
• Weight: lightweight construction – 100 rolls weigh approx. 1000 grams
• Chain width: approx. 18.90 mm
• 80 links equal one metre in length

Technical specifications:

• Chain colour: clip lock
• Chain model: HD
• Pitch: 428
• Recommendation: open chain including clip lock
